ABSTRACT
The role that Nigerian stock Exchange plays
in capitalizing organizations cannot be overemphasized. This study aims at
identifying the roles of Nigerian stock exchange in capitalization
organizations. The researcher in carrying out the work consulted several work
ranging from textbook, Journals and internet. In dealing with the study the
researcher use primary data (interview) as well as secondary data.
Questionnaires were analyzed with the aid of statistical sampling of the
responses of the respondents. It was found out that there were some problems
facing Nigerian stock exchange which are political instability and
unavailability of funds for it’s growth. It was recommended that enough funds
should be made available so as to make the Nigerian stock exchange market grow;
it was also recommended that government should endeavour to make their policies
stable in order to achieve the set objectives.
